Worst song ever
I wrote awhile ago how I thought Train was the worst popular band ever. I stand by what I said. However, somebody at CNN is apparently wondering what the worst popular song ever is. To be honest, I've never heard the song he nominates. But God knows, I have some suggestions, too.
In no particular order, I think these hit songs are highly worthy of scorn:
Sisqo, The Thong Song. This song isn't even fun when you're singing it just to be a dumbass, unlike some other songs that ought to be bad. (e.g., Eye of the Tiger, which I recently put on a mix cd and now consider to be a minor classic.)
Baha Men, Who Let The Dogs Out? I can't even dignify this one with a comment. Actually, this about says it all.
Lou Bega, Mambo No. 5. If this is number 5, I don't want to know what the first four were like.
Summergirls, LFO. Girls who wear Abercrombie and Fitch were soooo 2000. Even back then, I couldn't really stand 'em. I always wondered if those boys from LFO really liked girls who wear A&F, or if they got a little kickback. Who knows?
Now, I am sure there are alot more worst songs ever, so feel free to chip in with your response. And if you happen to love one of the abovementioned songs, you are more than welcome to defend it.

I HATE that theme song from Dawson's Creek. I can't remember the name of it but it goes something like, "I don't want to wait for our lives to be over." The broad who sings it sang it at the Grammy's and didn't shave her arm pits.
I also can't stand just about any Nickelback song, especially "Photograph." Every time I hear that first line, "Look at this photograph, everytime I know it makes me laugh" my skin literally cringes. With that song they've now passed Train as my all-time worst popular band. They are the most pussy rock band I've ever heard in my life.
Another stupid song is "Sonny Came Home" by Shawn Colvin (I think). What a worthless, annoying piece of shit song!

I hate the song that goes like: they put up a parking lot doo doo dooo doooo
I also hate the new Sharika song about her hips or whatever.. .her voice is SO annoying in that fricking song!

What's not to like about the lyric 'a little bit of Jessica, by my side, a little a bit of' I donkt remember the other girls, but they sounded hot. Who doesn't like hot chicks?
As for songs I can't stand, anything by Nirvana. Just a bunch of crying. If I wanted to listen to someone whine I'd listen to lisa loeb. I hate the fact that people still cream over a guy who was weak-minded enough to off himself. Now I'm pissed off.
